Yolanda is the Founder/Honorary Member of ASAP Translators and Interpreters. A full service language provider with 120 members, in over 20 languages, operating in Spokane, WA since 2000. ASAP has provided exclusive Medical and Legal interpreters to Sacred Heart, Shriner's, Deaconess, St Luke's Rehabilitation Center, to mention a few. After I was a volunteer at Shriner's Hospital in Spokane for two years, I realized that there was room for improvement in the language service they were contracting. These two years are the most humbling and inspiring years of my life. I started by preparing myself extensively, then by coaching potential bilinguals to obtain the needed certification to work in this field. I compared the requirements and mission statement of other language providers and set ASAP's goal to fill the gaps that were missing. ASAP is still THE 1sh choice trusted language agency in the area, masterfully operated with care, kindness and dedication by Maria Lucia Gutierrez. It's not all about money!
